CES always marks the start of a new year – and this year’s edition rung in the start of a new decade. Each January, the Las Vegas Convention Center transforms into a global stage of innovation, where the world’s biggest tech companies engage in a good-spirited game of one-upmanship. This year’s show certainly didn’t disappoint. From futuristic cities to foldable computers and next-gen smart home products, CES 2020 delivered the ‘wow’ factor we’ve all come to expect – and then some. It’s always inspiring to see these technologists continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible, and this forward-thinking spirit is something that we closely identify with. Innovation is – and always has been – a priority for Menlo Micro, especially now as we prepare to launch our Ideal Switch.
For Menlo, CES is the perfect opportunity to get together with key customers and partners to discuss all of the exciting things ahead. 2020 is a critical year for us – the dream that began back in the research labs of General Electric has become a reality, and our Ideal Switch is ready to change the game for electronic system designers.
Electromechanical switch technology has remained relatively unchanged for more than 50 years – but that changes now. The importance of reducing size, weight, power and cost for the next generation of electronic applications cannot be understated – and we’re excited for what the future holds.
Next up for Menlo is Mobile World Congress in Barcelona at the end of February, where we’ll be giving demos of our Ideal Switch technology and highlighting the target applications for our high-performing switches (think telecom, test & measurement, medical, automotive, consumer and more). We’d love to see you there – if you’re attending MWC and would like to meet, email us at partner@menlomicro.com to set up an appointment.
