From Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to APEC in Anaheim, California – the last few weeks have been a whirlwind of activity. Racking up this many frequent flyer miles can only mean one thing: trade show season is definitely upon us. At Menlo Micro, we’re making a point to be front and center at the electronic industry’s biggest events – and we’re gaining plenty of Ideal Switch fans along the way.
Did you know that Mobile World Congress is the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry? We had a busy few days at MWC, meeting with media, analysts, customers and partners to talk about upcoming advancements with our next-generation RF switching technology. With it, we’re pushing the frequency response of our products to 12GHz-18GHz, with the RF performance and power handling of a mechanical relay (but in the form factor of a solid-state device). We also highlighted the latest improvements in advanced TGV glass packaging and some exciting test results comparing our products against traditional RF switches.
Back in sunny Southern California, we hit the ground running and set up shop at APEC – the premier conference for all things power electronics. We were there to showcase our Ideal Switch and gave live demonstrations to show attendees. To go from demonstrating 18GHz RF products the month prior, to debuting a 120V/15A power relay product at APEC, just shows the breadth of opportunity that awaits the Ideal Switch. The trade show season is off to an exciting start in 2019!
All told, we met with nearly 20 members of the media and analyst communities in conjunction with these two events, including representatives from such industry heavyweights as ECN, Electronic Design, EDN and Strategy Analytics. Next up is IMS in Boston in June – hope to see some of you there!
